Guthrie Racing started in 2006 and is owned by 1997 Indy Racing League (IRL) “Rookie of the Year” honoree Jim Guthrie. Jim won in Phoenix that year and was an original driver when the IRL was formed. He raced for several years in the IRL before redirecting his focus towards his business, Car Crafters, and is now managing the career of his 19 year old son, Sean. This is the teams third year in Indy Lights Series competition, winning twice in 2006.
